This print is from one of my original paintings, inspired by memories of my father-in-law—an honest, hard-working man who loved to fish alone at dawn before the world stirred.
I painted it in acrylic, working slowly to capture the stillness of the water, the weight of the quiet, and the way men like him find peace in simple things. The American flag in the back of the boat means a lot—he was proud of where he came from, just like I am.
