This is a print of my original acrylic painting, inspired by a deep love for faith, country, and the enduring courage of our Founding Fathers. As a wife, mother, and granddaughter of veterans, I grew up hearing stories of sacrifice and honor—and I carry those with me in every brushstroke.
The concept behind this piece came during a quiet moment in church, where I imagined what it would look like if the spirit of our early leaders stood guard over our freedoms—even in the sanctuary. The figure represents strength rooted in truth, armed not just with resolve, but readiness to defend what’s sacred.
Creating this helped me process the changing world around us and reflect on the values I want to pass on to my children. It’s personal. It’s prayerful. And it’s meant to be a reminder that reverence and resolve can stand side by side.
